Events in data offer an excellent opportunity to keep up-to-date with any innovations in technology and business strategy. As we approach Big Data LDN, we’re excited to hear the keynote from Cambridge Analytica whistleblower Chris Wylie. This talk promises to kickstart conversations around data privacy, with a behind-the-scenes look at Facebook’s scandal.
Big Data LDN is a 2-day conference, packed with people that want to talk about data (like us!). There’s plenty more going on after the keynote has ended, but it can be easy end up lost in a sea of tech vendors. So what else is there to explore at events in data in 2019?

Alongside Chris Wylie, there are a wide breadth of talks planned across the two days at Big Data LDN. These sessions are great for leaders that want to hear insights, frameworks and approaches from experts in their field. We’re particularly excited to see Dr Tom Wilson from LW Theatres share their success story with Data: The Musical.
DATA: THE MUSICAL, 13:50-14:20 on the 13th November
Members of the Cynozure crew are also taking to the stage this year, sharing their own experience with likeminded data leaders. Jason Foster will be leading a talk on the 13th, talking about driving business value with a data strategy. This session will draw on his experience leading data at companies like M&S, driving culture and buy-in for data.
BUILD A DATA STRATEGY FOCUSSED ON BUSINESS VALUE, 15:10–15:40 on the 13th November
On the 14th November, James Lupton will then lead his session on how to get the technology stack right for your business. This talk is designed to equip business and data leaders with 10 questions to ask any tech vendor. With these 10 questions, you can cut through the jargon and find the right technology for your needs.

Not interested in the crowds at Big Data LDN? Our masterclasses are designed to help equip leaders with the understanding to deliver data in their own businesses. In these 2-hour sessions, you will gain practical knowledge and understanding from our industry thought leaders.
If you’re hoping to get to grips with your technology, you’ll be interested in our Data Platform masterclass. Led by James Lupton, this workshop takes apart the technology and architecture that drives your data. In turn, this will help you understand what components you need to sustain an effective data strategy.
